Origin and establishment

The National Cancer Control Foundation was established on 3/19/2003 as it is a non-profit, national charitable institution with a legal personality
and an independent financial liability that exercises its activities and powers on a national charitable basis in accordance with the procedures stipulated in its statute

 


Basic principles

  • Humanity: alleviating people’s pain and protecting human life
  • Non-alignment: The National Cancer Foundation fulfills its mission without discrimination
  • Independence: The National Cancer Control Foundation is an independent institution that operates in accordance with the principles of the constitution and the laws in force in the Republic of Yemen
  • Voluntary work: the foundation is a humanitarian charity and the basis of its work is volunteering to serve the cancer patients and alleviate their suffering and pain, and it does not aim to gain material

And in accordance with the principles of the constitution and the laws in force in the Republic of Yemen

  • Fight against cancerous tumors
  • Community awareness of the causes of cancer and ways to prevent it
  • Educating the family and society to contribute to helping the cancer patient psychologically, socially and financially
